The Komodo dragon is the largest lizard in the world, growing to be about ten feet long and upwards of three hundred pounds. They'll attack and kill anything that gets close enough, and actually ate an elderly Swiss fellow back in the seventies. Luckily they aren't very fast, so as long as you're careful not to get too close you can spend a great deal of time within close proximity of the beasts.
