Despite Jerome saying that the grey-headed albatross wouldn't care no matter how close we got to them, it still felt weird being a few feet away from these giant birds. At one point one bird flew in for a landing immediately next to me, clipping me slightly with his wing, so apparently Jerome spoke the truth.
