The youngest elephant (back right) was like a puppy, except for the fact that he weighed several hundred pounds. As soon as anyone had some fruit or any other food he would come charging over, often nearly taking out his target in the process. The rest of the elephants seemed content to just use their trunks to shake people's hands, check their pockets, and give goodbye hugs. If anyone ever figures out how to breed miniature elephants they would easily join dogs and cats as people's favorite pets.
