The temple in Mysore is at the top of a huge hill. Pilgrims walk barefoot up a ton of steps to the temple -- it takes about an hour at a good pace, but the views are great and it's a good way to meet people in India without having to worry about the touts trying to hassle you. Near the top is this massive bull, which the priests decorate daily with flowers, ash, and dyes.
