Note the variety of goofy hats Skip wore throughout the Egypt trip. Initially he felt that this hat would allow him to blend in since it made him "look British" He was cured of that delusion a few days later, but unfortunately he moved on to an Egyptian hat that supposedly allowed him to "look like a local".
