Preah Kahn

Preah Kahn

Location: Angkor, Cambodia
Date: April 2001
Camera: Pentax ZX-50
The entire area of Preah Khan is 140 acres, although the central temples and libraries are a smaller portion of that total size. The guidebook I've got says that it was built in 1191 and modified during the next hundred years. The name is translated to mean "Sacred Sword", and legends tell of a Cambodian Excalibur being kept here.
