Bantei Srei was located a long ways outside of the rest of Angkor and held a completely different feeling. Supposedly it was inspired more by Indian architecture than anything else, and it was built of a reddish stone that was particularly nice in the morning light. While I was there only one other person had made it out from Siem Reap, but with my amazing skills I managed to catch her in this photo. National Geographic obviously won't be knocking down my door anytime soon.
