I've tried photographing Artist's Pallette in the morning, at sunset, and from all sorts of angles, and no matter what I do it doesn't seem to come anywhere near capturing the scene. If you ever visit Death Valley please go to visit this spot and then you'll understand what a lousy photographer I can be and how interesting this geologic feature actually is.
