On this particular day I woke up, poked my head out of my tent, and then practically ran as I grabbed my camera and sped off for the far end of Wonder Lake -- the famous Ansel Adams photo of Denali was taken from the opposite side of Wonder Lake on a day like this one. However, about two-thirds of the way there I came across this pond and then spent the next hour snapping photos before I had to run back to my campsite and pack everything up in order to meet the noon check-out deadline.
