While the far north is somewhere I will remember for the rest of my life, some of the little things in the civilized world are nice to come back to &#8212; I&#8217;m drinking hot chocolate in a coffeehouse, I&#8217;m warm, I just got a shower, and I don&#8217;t have to run outside into the freezing cold when nature calls.
