More than thirty years ago I remember my mother taking me to the Nashua Science Center where they gave a presentation on the great new replacement for the Apollo rocket.  After one more mission that era will be over for good, which is an odd thing to consider.<\/li>\n<li>In the world of airplanes (which are awesome) Boeing is getting ready for the first flight of the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Boeing_747-8#747-8_Intercontinental\">747-8i<\/a>, the world&#8217;s longest commercial airplane, and will shortly be announcing plans for the plane that will <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flightglobal.com\/blogs\/flightblogger\/2011\/02\/clean-sheet---boeings-all-new.html\">replace the 737<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The wicked awesome <a href=\"http:\/\/jamwiki.org\/wiki\/en\/JAMWiki_1.0\">JAMWiki 1.0<\/a> was unleashed upon the world at the end of January to a roar of silence, although on <a href=\"http:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/jamwiki\/files\/jamwiki\/1.0.x\/stats\/timeline?dates=2011-02-09+to+2011-02-12\">February 11<\/a> apparently 5800 Kazakhis downloaded it, a new record for single-day eastern bloc installs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And with that, February now has three journal entries.
