Apparently I was wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Unrelated, but <a href=\"\/journal\/2002\/09\/21\/15-miles-north-of-denali-national-park-alaska-7\/\">one year ago today<\/a> the weather was cold but clear in Denali National Park and I took off on what turned out to be a twenty mile hike up to <a href=\"\/photos\/alaska\/highlights\/pages\/07-roll\/21-denali-alaska-range-from-sable-pass.html\">Sable Pass<\/a>.  Today the day started with an early conference call with the Europeans to finalize some legal requirements for German site registration.
