At this very moment last year I was spending the first night of the trip in the Subaru just south of Redwood National Park (sleeping peacefully, unlike tonight).  I woke up that day and went for a run through a Redwood Grove that was palpably peaceful, if such a phrase can be used to describe a place where you can&#8217;t help but feel anything other than content and relaxed.
