Luckily I had turned a corner &#8212; I was within a hair&#8217;s breadth of having the entire cast and crew of ER really ticked off at me.  On a positive note, this was the first time I ever got to see them actually filming &#8212; normally I just see setup with tons of extras milling around.  The most interesting part of the whole thing was the guy who controls the extras walking on the street &#8212; for a minute-long shot there must have been thirty extras, and one guy stood to the side triggering each of them to stroll by and enjoy their moment of fame.
